Homer Police

March 27

At 9:16 p.m. a 32-year-old Homer woman turned herself in at the police station on a warrant for failure to appear in court on an original charge of fourth-degree theft. Homer Police remanded her to the Homer Jail.

Troopers

March 29

At 7:59 p.m., Alaska State Troopers were flagged down by a 23-year-old Soldotna woman near Mile 142 Sterling Highway. The woman reported she had an incident with her boyfriend while driving. Troopers said the woman’s boyfriend, a 27-year-old Ninilchik man, had gotten in an altercation with the woman and that she fled on foot after the car stopped at a pullout. Homer Police later contacted the man and he was arrested for fourth-degree assault, third-degree theft, driving while license revoked and violating conditions of release. He was taken to the Homer Jail.
