Homer Police
Sept. 24
Homer Police got a report at 12:05 p.m. of someone trespassing at a local business. Officers arrested a 40-year-old Homer man for second-degree criminal trespass and took him to the Homer Jail.
Sept. 26
Homer Police made a traffic stop at 3:30 a.m. and arrested a 27-year-old Homer man for driving under the influence. He was taken to the Homer Jail.
Homer Police responded to a vehicle going off the road and into the Homer Middle School parking lot at 10:15 p.m. Officers contacted the driver and occupants and arrested a 37-year-old California man and a 40-year-old Soldotna woman for driving under the influence. They were taken to the Homer Jail. The vehicle was impounded.
Troopers
Sept. 16
At 8:38 p.m., Alaska State Troopers contacted a vehicle at the Anchor Point Solid Waste Transfer site. An investigation led to a 39-year-old Soldotna woman being found in possession of methamphetamine. She was given a summons to appear and released.
Sept. 28
At 7:50 p.m., Alaska State Troopers stopped a vehicle near Mile 138 Sterling Highway after recognizing the same 39-year-old Soldotna woman was the driver, and knowing she did not have a valid license. Driving records confirmed her license was in revoked status. She was given a summons to appear in court and released.
Sept. 29
At 11:47 p.m., the Soldotna Alaska State Troopers K-9 Team conducted a traffic stop at Mile 57 Sterling Highway on a maroon 1994 GMC Jimmy after observing a moving violation. The sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as a 32-year-old Homer woman. An APSIN check revealed she had two outstanding warrants for her arrest for the original charge of failure to appear, third-degree assault ($50/warrant), and stalking and violating a protective order ($50/warrant). The woman was arrested and transported to Wildwood Pretrial where she was remanded and posted $100 bail for the outstanding warrants and she was released from Jail.
