A caller at 11:07 a.m. reported a woman pulling up survey markers near the road on Homer Bypass Road. Officers went to the location.
A caller at 12:05 p.m. reported a suspicious vehicle in a driveway on Latham Avenue. An officer responded to the location.
A caller at 1:04 p.m. requested a welfare check for a person on Heath Street. Officers responded to the location and found everything was OK.
A caller at 3:59 p.m. reported a backpack in the middle of the road on Spit Road. An officer went to the area.
A caller at 5:28 p.m. reported a woman urinating in a parking lot on Homer Bypass Road and stumbling around. An officer responded and arrested the 42-year-old woman for criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.
A caller at 6:07 p.m. reported a vehicle collision at Fairview Avenue and East End Road that had caused damage. Officers went to the scene.
A caller at 7:03 p.m. reported finding two dogs that were running in the road at Royle Lane and the Sterling Highway. An officer met the caller at the Homer Animal Shelter.
A caller at 11:03 p.m. reported an intoxicated man causing a disturbance on Pennock Street. Officers went to the scene. The people involved agreed to separate for the evening and no crime was committed.
June 22
Multiple callers at 1:52 a.m. reported a physical dispute outside a business on Shelford Street. An officer went to the scene, the altercation ended and the people involved left the area.
A caller at 2:02 a.m. made a Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately (REDDI) report on a vehicle on East Pioneer Avenue. An officer contacted the driver but didn’t detect any impairment.
A caller at 2:41 a.m. reported people at a campsite making excessive noise on Spit Road. An officer went to the scene but didn’t hear any noise. The officer advised campers in the area about the noise complaint.
A caller at 10:52 a.m. requested a welfare check be made on a man sitting in a vehicle at Sabrina Road and East End Road. An officer responded but the vehicle wasn’t there anymore.
A caller at 11:32 a.m. reported a domestic dispute at a campground at Karen Hornaday Park. An officer went to the location and contacted a woman, but the man involved was already gone.
A caller at 12:37 p.m. reported fraud at a local business on West Pioneer Avenue. An officer was notified and it’s under investigation.
An officer at 12:05 p.m. assisted with the Homer Pride Walk parade route at Lake Street and Homer Bypass Road.

An officer at 9:46 p.m. contacted a person with an outstanding warrant on Clover Lane, and arrested the 32-year-old woman for failing to appear in court. She was taken to the Homer Jail.
June 23
A security company at 2:35 a.m. reported a commercial alarm on Lakeshore Drive. An officer went to the scene. The building was secure and the officer left a message left for the registered owner.
A caller at 10:18 a.m. reported an incident of sexual harassment on the Sterling Highway.
A caller at 12:02 a.m. made a REDDI report on a motorcycle driver. An officer contacted the driver on Spit Road but didn’t detect any impairment.
A caller at 2:10 p.m. requested a welfare check be made on a woman on East Bayview Avenue. An officer attempted to make the check.
An agency at 3:18 p.m. passed on a REDDI report on a vehicle. An officer contacted the driver at Mile 164 Sterling Highway and didn’t note any impairment.
A caller at 3:35 p.m. reported a firearm was shot within city limits on Rogers Loop. An officer responded but found that the person involved actually lived outside city limits.
A caller at 3:51 p.m. reported a vehicle in the ditch on West Hill Road, with no injuries. An officer went to the scene.
A caller at 10:28 p.m. reported people snagging illegally and making threats at Mile 1 Spit Road. An officer responded and contacted the people involved.
A caller at 10:41 p.m. reported a domestic dispute at a neighboring home on Hidden Way. An officer went to the scene and arrested a 37-year-old man for criminal mischief and three counts of misconduct involving weapons.
June 24
A caller at 11:54 a.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle on Homer Bypass Road. An officer was unable to locate it.
A caller at 12:13 p.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle at Spit Road and Kachemak Drive. An officer went to the area.
A caller at 12:31 p.m. reported a possible wanted person on Waddell Street. An officer went to the area and arrested a 29-year-old man on two warrants for failing to appear in court.
A caller at 9:30 p.m. reported finding drug paraphernalia in a public bathroom at Pioneer Avenue and Bartlett Street. An officer made a security check and collected the materials.
An alarm company at 11:44 p.m. passed on a burglary alarm going off on Ben Walters Lane. An officer responded.
June 25
Dispatch at 2:17 a.m. got a 911 hand up from Spit Road. Officers located the caller and medics were called to the scene.
A caller at 2:39 a.m. reported a suspicious circumstance at a local business on Spit Road. Officers went to the area to check it out.
A caller at 5:21 a.m. reported a suspicious vehicle parked in a residential area on Elderberry Court. An officer went to the location.
A caller at 10:35 a.m. reported dogs barking after the fact on Early Spring. The caller was advised to call when the dogs were barking. The Animal Control Office was advised.
A caller at 2:48 p.m. requested that a person be trespassed from the area on East Pioneer Avenue. An officer was advised and the people in question left the area.
A caller at 8:51 p.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle in the area of East End Road and Kachemak Drive. Officers went to the area but didn’t locate the vehicle.
An officer at 9:08 p.m. made a traffic stop at East End Road and Rochelle Drive. During the stop the officer contacted a woman with three outstanding warrants, one for violating conditions of release and two for failing to appear in court. The 21-year-old woman was arrested and taken to the Homer Jail.
June 26
A local business at 2:03 a.m. reported an abandoned vehicle in a parking lot on Ben Walters Lane. They were advised of their options.
A caller at 5:55 a.m. reported that people were trying to enter a public bathroom on Spit Road while it was in use. An officer went to the area.
Troopers
June 28
Alaska Wildlife Troopers issued a 37-year-old Homer man a summons for personal use fishing in China Poot Creek during a closed season with a mandatory court date set for July 17 in the Homer Court. He was also issued a $140 bailable citation for snagging Sockeye Salmon in the fresh waters of China Pot creek. A second 37-year-old Homer man was also issued a summons for personal use fishing in China Poot Creek during a closed season with a mandatory court date set for July 17 in Homer Court.
Alaska State Troopers at approximately 4:05 p.m. received a Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately (REDDI) call in the area of Ninilchik about a male driving intoxicated in a black Ford truck, and chasing another vehicle down Oil Well Road. Troopers responded to the area and subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of a 51-year-old Ninilchik man for three counts of domestic violence-related third-degree assault, one count of fourth-degree assault and one count of driving under the influence. The man was transported to the Homer Police Department where a breath sample showed a breath alcohol content of .219.
July 1
Alaska State Troopers at approximately 2:34 a.m. conducted a traffic stop in Clam Gulch on a gray 1986 Ford Bronco for an equipment violation. Investigation revealed a 55-year-old Clam Gulch man had two active arrest warrants for failing to appear. The man was remanded to Wildwood Pretrial with a $1,000 bail amount.
