An officer at 2:06 a.m. made a security check on a commercial building on East End Road where the door was open and there was a person inside with a flashlight. The officer found all was OK.
An officer at 2:30 a.m. made a traffic stop on Kachemak Drive. The vehicle and the driver were possibly involved in suspicious activity. The officer made a security check of the area.
An officer at 3:24 a.m. assisted Alaska State Troopers on East End Road.
A caller at 5:16 a.m. reported a man sleeping in the roadway at Fairview Avenue and Main Street. An officer went to the scene and provided the man with a ride home.
A woman at 11:10 a.m. went to the police station to report criminal mischief on East End Road. An officer took a report.
A caller at 4:28 p.m. reported a disturbance in the area of a business on Main Street. An officer responded and contacted the people involved.
A caller at 6:59 p.m. reported a suspicious circumstance at a local business on East Pioneer Avenue. Officers responded and contacted the people involved.
An officer at 7:27 p.m. made a welfare check on a man and woman lying in the grass near a local business on Greatland Street. The officer found everything was OK.
An officer at 7:41 p.m. caught a loose dog on Greatland Street and took it to the Homer Animal Shelter.
A caller at 11:05 p.m. reported a man trespassing on property on Hohe Street. Officers went to the area.

A caller at 12:50 a.m. made a Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately (REDDI) report on a vehicle. Officers responded and contacted the driver at Pioneer Avenue and Shelford Street. The driver was given a DUI warning.
A caller at 2:42 a.m. requested assistance with a noise complaint on West Pioneer Avenue. An officer went to the location.
A caller at 3 a.m. reported a suspicious person in a ditch on East Pioneer Avenue. Officers went to the area.
An agency at 4:28 a.m. reported a commercial burglary alarm on Greatland Street. Officers went to the location.
An officer at 5:11 a.m. contacted people who were outside of a business on Homer Bypass Road.
A caller at 1:35 p.m. reported an intoxicated person “attempting to ride a bike and not doing well” at Lake Street and Ben Watlers Lane. An officer went to the area and remanded a woman for violating probation.
A caller at 1:50 p.m. reported speeding trucks in the area of Sprucewood Drive and Highland Drive. An officer went to the area.
A caller at 4:46 p.m. reported a dog in the roadway in the Homer area. The dog was placed in the shelter.
A caller at 5:41 p.m. reported drug information at Bishop’s Beach. An officer went to the area to follow up.
An officer at 6:32 p.m. assisted with a disabled vehicle on Homer Bypass Road.
June 4
A caller at 5:14 a.m. reported a suspicious vehicle in a driveway on Kachemak Drive. An officer went to the area.
A caller at 9:52 a.m. reported a wanted person in a vehicle on Homer Bypass Road. Officers went to the scene and arrested the 36-year-old woman on a warrant for failing to appear in court.
A caller at 10:45 a.m. reported a dangerous driver on Bishop’s Beach. An officer contacted the driver and advised him of the complaint.
A caller at 12:38 p.m. reported that a baby moose was separated from its mother by a fence at Lake Street and Ben Walters Road. The proper agency was notified.
A caller at 12:44 p.m. reported a small black bear in her yard on Sea Breeze Court. The proper agency was notified.
A caller at 1:47 p.m. requested a welfare check be made on a person on East End Road. Officers went to the location but the person they were checking on was already gone.
Two callers at 5:37 p.m. reported a vehicle collision with a moose at East End Road and Adams Drive. An officer went to the scene and found no damage had been done to the vehicle.
A caller at 8:08 p.m. requested a welfare check be made on a woman on Spit Road. An officer went to the area to contact the woman.
A caller at 6:49 p.m. requested a welfare check be made on an intoxicated man at Greatland Street and Homer Bypass Road. Officers responded and contacted the man.
A caller at 7:05 p.m. reported catching a loose dog that was running in the roadway on Heath Street. An officer met the caller at the Homer Animal Shelter and lodged the dog there.
A caller at 9:35 p.m. reported a dog bite with injuries on Spit Road. Officers and medics went to the scene and one person was taken to South Peninsula Hospital.
June 5
A caller at 11:44 a.m. reported a vehicle driving recklessly on Bishop’s Beach. An officer went to the location but the vehicle was gone.
A caller at 12:20 p.m. reported a man missing from Spit Road. Officers were to be on the lookout. The man was found.
Multiple callers at 4:02 p.m. reported a woman walking in the roadway on Knapp Circle. Officers went to the area but the woman was gone when they arrived.
A caller at 7:55 p.m. reported a domestic violence situation between her and her sister on East Fairview Avenue. Officers went to the scene.
A caller at 9:15 p.m. reported a person causing a disturbance at a local business on Homer Bypass Road. Officers went to the scene.
Troopers
June 6
Alaska State Troopers at 9 a.m. received a report of a female passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle at the Ninilchik transfer site. An investigation found that a 30-year-old Anchor Point woman was operating the vehicle under the influence of controlled substances and was in possession of controlled substances. The woman was arrested and remanded into the Homer Jail on charges of DUI and fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.
Alaska State Troopers at 6:36 a.m. received a report that the Ninilchik General Store had been burglarized sometime during the night. An investigation showed unknown person(s) forced entry into the building and attempted to break into the ATM located inside. The investigation is ongoing.
