An officer at 1:01 p.m. provided a ride for a man at Main Street and Bunnell Avenue.
A caller at 1:55 p.m. reported a man laying on the ground on Hazel Avenue. An officer went to the scene and advised the man to move along. A cab was called for him.
A caller at 2:19 p.m. reported a vehicle with an “overly loud exhaust system” in the Homer Area.
A caller at 3:09 p.m. made a Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately (REDDI) report on a vehicle on the Sterling Highway. An officer contacted the driver and found they were not impaired.
A caller at 5:43 p.m. reported a dog bite on Bartlett Street. An officer was advised as well as the animal control office.
A caller at 7:08 p.m. reported a trespass issue on Jenny Way. Officers responded to the location and issued a no trespass advisement to a man and a woman.
A caller at 7:18 p.m. reported seeing a wanted person walking on the roadway at Mile 2 East End Road. An officer went to the area but was unable to find any wanted person.

A caller at 12:23 a.m. reported a suspicious vehicle and suspicious activity on Main Street. An officer responded to the location.
A caller at 3:58 p.m. reported three suspicious vehicles in a parking lot on Spit Road for an extended period of time. An officer went to the area but the vehicles were gone when the officer arrived.
A caller at 9:18 p.m. reported a man in a vehicle doing drugs at Heath Street and Grubstake Avenue. An officer went to the area.
May 24
A caller at 12:18 a.m. reported people with flashlights outside of their home on Lakeshore Drive. Officers responded to the location.
A caller at 9:54 a.m. reported possible drug activity on Pennock Street. An officer went to the area and contacted a person.
A caller at 11:58 a.m. reported five vehicles parked on the side of the road blocking the way at Main Street and Ohlson Lane. An officer was advised.
A caller at 5:17 p.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle at East End Road and Lake Street. An officer contacted the driver and didn’t detect any impairment.
A caller at 6:07 p.m. reported a vehicle crash with n0 injuries at Pioneer Avenue and Homer Bypass Road. An officer went to the scene.
A caller at 6:52 p.m. reported excessive noise at Jack Gist Park. An officer was advised.

A caller at 4:14 a.m. reported suspicious vehicles and activity on Main Street. An officer went to the scene and checked out the vehicles.
A caller at 9:40 a.m. reported an open fire hydrant on Klondike Avenue. It turned out all was OK and that hydrants were being flushed.
A caller at 11:20 a.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle speeding and driving recklessly at Mile 171 Sterling Highway. An officer was advised.
An officer at 11:58 a.m. assisted medics on Main Street.
A caller at 1:12 p.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle at Mile 1 Kachemak Drive. Officers located the vehicle and found it unoccupied.
Multiple callers at 4:56 p.m. reported a vehicle crash that caused damage as well as road blockage at Main Street and Homer Bypass Road. Officers went to the scene, and one driver fled the scene on foot.
A caller at 3:20 p.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle on East End Road, saying the driver was possibly under the influence of narcotics. An officer contacted the driver and detected no impairment.
A caller at 3:55 p.m. reported a domestic issue on Spit Road. An officer went to the scene and found neither person involved had committed any crime. The woman involved was given keys to a vehicle so she could leave the area.
A caller at 4:50 p.m. reported a suspicious circumstance involving road work equipment at Lake Street and Brown Bear Loop. An officer went to the location.
May 26
A caller at 4:55 a.m. reported a disturbance in a campground on Spit Road. An officer went to the location and contacted the people involved.
An officer at 8:15 a.m. assisted another law enforcement agency with a witness interview in the Homer area.
A caller at 12:03 p.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle speeding and passing in a no passing zone on West Hill Road. An officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
An anonymous man at 5:23 p.m. wearing a ski mask turned in found property at the window of a building on Beluga Place.
An alarm company at 6:30 p.m. reported a commercial burglary alarm on Landings Street. Officers went to the location and checked the building. They found all was OK.
A caller at 8:34 p.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle on East Fairview Avenue. Officers arrested a 19-year-old man for criminal trespass and remanded him to the Homer Jail.
A caller at 9:24 p.m. reported that a woman on their property on Spit Road was not “responding appropriately.” Officers went to the scene and ended up arresting the 47-year-old woman for disorderly conduct and for making a false report.
A caller at 10:03 p.m. reported a vehicle parked on private property on Pennock Drive, saying it was an ongoing issue. An officer arrived and patrolled the area.
May 27
An officer at 1:50 a.m. gave a woman a ride at Mile 3 Spit Road.
A caller at 11:34 a.m. reported a person camping in an unauthorized are on Karen Hornaday Road. They reported the person was taking brush from a wooded area. An officer contacted the campers.
A caller at 2:56 p.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle that was passing recklessly at Mile 164 Sterling Highway. An officer contacted the driver later on at their home and detected no impairment.
Multiple callers at 3:34 p.m. made REDDI reports on a vehicle on Homer Bypass Road. An officer contacted the driver and noted no impairment.
A business at 3:53 p.m. reported a shoplifter in custody on Lake Street. An officer went to the scene.
A caller at 4:02 p.m. requested a welfare check on a woman on Clover Lane. An officer went to the scene and found all was OK.
An officer at 6:54 p.m. checked out a suspicious vehicle while conducting a security check on Arctic Tern Place.
An officer at 11:13 p.m. made a routine traffic stop at Mile 2 Spit Road. The driver was given a DUI warning. The vehicle was parked and its occupants got a ride in a cab.
A caller at 11:51 p.m. reported loud bass music from a vehicle in a campground at Mile 5 Spit Road. An officer went to the scene, contacted the people involved and told them to keep the music down.
Troopers
Feb. 28
Alaska State Troopers at 2:25 p.m. arrested a 40-year-old Ninilchik man on an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The man was contacted after Troopers saw him walking down the road and knew he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The original charge on the warrant was hindering prosecution in the first degree and bail was set at $1,500. The man was transported and remanded into the Homer Jail.
May 25
A 62-year-old Harrietta, Michigan man, a 40-year-old Owosso, Michigan man, a 38-year-old Owosso resident and a 62-year-old Perry, Michigan man were all issued citations by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Anchor Point Post, for failure to log halibut on their fishing license while out on a charter trip. Bail is set at $110 in the Homer Court for each individual.
A 35-year-old Homer man was issued a citation by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Anchor Point Post, for fishing in the Anchor River while it was closed to fishing. Bail is set at $110 in the Homer Court.
May 26
An 80-year-old Suquamish, Washington man was issued a citation by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Anchor Point Post for failure to log halibut while on a charter trip. Bail is set at $110 in the Homer Court.
A 23-year-old Homer woman was issued a citation by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Anchor Point Post, for fishing without her fishing license in possession. Bail is set at $210 in the Homer Court.
