Sylvia Ella Moonin was born at 2:16 p.m. Oct. 2, 2016, at South Peninsula Hospital to Jolene N. Kvasnikoff and Sperry A. Moonin of Nanwalek. She weighed 10 pounds. Her grandparents are Wally and Nina Kvasnikoff of Nanwalek, Pauline and Jerry Demas of Nanwalek, and the late Sperry A. Moonin Sr. Her older siblings are Kisa, Nina and Victoria Moonin.
