BEST BIG SUMMER RACES BET: The Kachemak Bay Running Club’s Annual Homer Spit Run, including the 10K Run to the Bay and the Cosmic Hamlet Half Marathon, will be held on Saturday, June 29. The 10K to the Bay is a USATF-certified 10K course. Both races benefit local youth running programs. The 10K to the Bay is a point-to-point 10K starting from Homer High School and finishing at Land’s End Resort. The Cosmic Hamlet Half Marathon is an out-and-back race starting and finishing at Land’s End. Early bib pickup will be at Grace Ridge Brewery from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 28.
