Halibut Cove artist Annette Bellamy is one of 10 Alaska artists selected by the Chugach National Forest and the Alaska State Council on the Arts to create ornaments for the 2015 U.S. Capitol Christmas tree. 

Ornaments will decorate the People’s Tree on the U.S. Capitol lawn, Washington, D.C. and in smaller offices in the Capitol and around Alaska. Artists created designs that highlight their personal connection to the landscape, wildlife and environment of Alaska.
