South Peninsula Hospital Behavioral Health adds new provider

Vicki Jackson, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), has joined the team at South Peninsula Hospital Behavioral Health Clinic. Jackson earned her bachelor’s degree from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington, and her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington.

Prior to moving to Homer in October, Jackson worked as a hospice social worker, palliative care mental health therapist and as a therapist at a community mental health center. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Alaska, Oregon and Washington. Vicki grew up in the rural town of Starbuck, Washington (population 120) and moved to Homer from Walla Walla, Washington in October.

Jackson is the mother of four children and has one grandson. She enjoys traveling, photography and taking walks, and said she is delighted at the opportunity to live in Homer and provide mental health services for the residents of the community.
