South Peninsula Hospital has the following events scheduled:

 Homer Medical Center Community Open House: 

5-7 p.m. April 4, a free event open to the public. Bring the whole family to meet the new providers, learn about the center’s comprehensive care for all ages and tour the newly remodeled clinic. Refreshments and door prizes are included. 

 Menopause Information Night: 

6 p.m. April 16, tentatively scheduled for Alaska Islands and Ocean Visitor Center. This is a free seminar presented by Dr. Hillary Seeger and is an opportunity to ask questions.

 Safe Kids Fair: 

10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 27, at Homer High School. Offers tips on health and safety for kids. Includes prizes, treats and hands-on activities.
