Pre-Kindergarden Title I Assessments
Children who will be four years old by Sept. 1 have an opportunity to attend pre-kindergarten classes at their local area school in the fall. To qualify for the classes, parents and guardians must:
1. Contact their local area school to schedule a Pre-K assessment;
2. Complete a Pre-K application available at the school office or on the web at http://bit/ly/PreKapplications;
3. Return the application to your neighborhood school office during school hours and schedule your child’s assessment prior to the date for your neighborhood school.

Chapman School
Today: 2013-2014 prekindergarten screening by appointment.

SCHOLARSHIPS
The International Pacific Halibut Commission funds several merit scholarships to support university, technical college and other post-secondary education. Generally, a single scholarship valued at $2,000 per year will be awarded. Scholarships are renewable annually for the normal four-year period of undergraduate education, subject to maintenance of satisfactory academic performance.
