Homer Head Start would like to thank the Homer Foundation for administering the Brother Asaiah Bates Fund, a field of interest fund, which has brought local artists into our school. Brother Asaiah developed this fund to enrich the lives of young children who attend Homer Head Start. Over the past year the children of Homer Head Start were immersed in various visual arts, movement activities and dramatic arts. We are also very grateful for the purchase of new seat restraints for our school bus. The generous wishes of Brother Asaiah Bates continue to positively impact young children in our community.
