Keith Lee Presley

April 12, 1966 – September 13, 2024

Keith Lee Presley died unexpectedly on the Kenai Peninsula on 9/13/24 due to an airplane accident at the age of 58.

Keith was born on 4/12/66 in Soldotna Alaska to Gary and Naomi Presley. He is a graduate of Ninilchik High School. He married his high school sweetheart in 1988 at the Anchor Point Church of Christ. He began his working career in the Cook Inlet oil fields and the Prudhoe Bay oil field as a welder. In 1991 he purchased a local service station in Ninilchik Alaska, Chinook Chevron, and was the owner, operator, and lead mechanic of this establishment until he sold it in 2018 to focus solely on automotive repair. He built and operated Chinook Automotive in Ninilchik Alaska for the remaining years of his life. Keith also owned and operated a set net site during the summer in Ninilchik.

Keith is remembered as outgoing, charismatic man with a passion for adventure. To the friend and stranger alike he was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved hunting, fishing, horseback riding, snowmobiling, basketball, golf, and football. He followed conservative ideologies, a proud patriotic American, and was a Christian in his faith. He served as a basketball coach for the Ninilchik boys team for many years and as a member of the Fish and Game Committee.

Keith is survived by his wife Teresa Presley, sons Cody and Tyler Presley, and his sister Garilynn Anderson. He is preceded by Gary and Naomi Presley, and his brother Dan Presley.

The funeral is scheduled for 10/5/24, 2:00 PM at the Ninilchik Fair grounds. Due to the nature of the accident this ceremony includes the passing of Keith’s brother Dan. Please come and join us for the celebration of their lives.
