Firefighters at 7:46 p.m. went to a report of smoke coming from the roof of a home on McClay Road. They put out the fire and ensured it did not spread.

July 4

Firefighters at 8:20 a.m. went to a report of a motorhome fire on Jenny Way. Firefighters found the motorhome was fully involved in a fire. They put out the fire. The cause remains under investigation.

Firefighters at 10:27 p.m. provided mutual aide with two tankers and staff to Kachemak Emergency Services for a structure fire off Diamond Ridge Road.
