Linda Carol Painter, 73, passed away May 1st at Central Peninsula Hospital.

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Linda Carol Painter 73 passed away May 1st at Central Peninsula Hospital. Surrounded by family and friends.

Linda was Born December 30, 1949 in Omaha, Nebraska to James “Jim” and Carol Bock

Celebration of life will be held May 20, 2053 at 1:00 p.m. NTC Community Hall in Ninilchik, Alaska.

They lived briefly in California and Washington. Then making their home in Ninilchik, Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula. Linda was the oldest of 6 kids

Linda married Michael “Mike” Painter May 25, 1968 in Ninilchik. Having 3 children: Michele L Sigler (Kenai), Danielle M Nolan (Kenai) and James “Jim” Painter and his wife Jocilyn Grant (Ninilchik)

Linda has assisted/volunteered throughout the community of Ninilchik. Giving her time and support to Ninilchik Tribe, Ninilchik Fair, Various community activities and fundraisers and holding many officer position in the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 18.

Linda was a very social person who enjoyed participating within the community. She loved fishing, camping, bingo, garage sales, quilting. visiting and cooking for Family and friends.

She is proceeded by her parents James “Jim” and Carol Bock, siblings Debra “Debbie” Henderson, Bill Bock, Fredrick “Rick” Bock.

Linda leaves behind her husband of 55 years, 3 children, 8 grandkids and 8 great-grandkids. Her brothers

Roger and Shareen Bock (Wasilla) and Craig and Helena Bock (Ninilchik)

She is loved and will be missed by all
