The Homer volleyball team sits at 5-2 in the Southcentral Conference and 5-4 in nontournament play after hosting and sweeping a pair of conference matches.

Thursday, Homer topped Houston 25-22, 25-17 and 25-20. Izzy Dye had nine kills and eight aces, Brooke Shafer had 15 assists, and Rebecca Trowbridge had five aces.

Friday, Homer scored a 25-14, 25-11 and 25-15 victory over Redington. Dye had 12 kills, Shafer had 26 assists and four aces, and Goldie Hill and Channing Lowney each had four kills.
