There will be a Spaghetti Feed this year. New organizers stepped up, but as always will need many volunteers to make this event a success. The feed will be Dec. 9, as always at our wonderful Elks’ Lodge. 

The applications for those in need will be available at many local human service agencies and area churches, starting the week of Nov. 24 through Friday, Dec. 12. Many local schools will hold food drives; ask your student if their school is participating. Local businesses will host our nonperishable food buckets and “Gift Trees.” Those will start to appear after Thanksgiving, and you can drop off a nonperishable food item or choose “gift” ornaments off these trees.

If you want more information or wish to volunteer, please call our information line at 235-7466. Share the Spirit will provide Christmas Food and Gift Baskets to those in our community who are in need. We all feel fortunate to live in this wonderful community. Please help our neighbors in need and always remember to Share the Spirit.
