Since I live out East End Road beyond the city limits, I don’t have a lot of say about what goes on in the city of Homer.
But having said that, I just can’t sit by and watch the Homer City Council spend $385,000 to design 35 percent of a building that is highly unlikely to be funded in the near future without saying something.
The math does not add up for starters.
And, secondly, in the wake of over a million dollar shortfall, this is nearly a quarter of that amount. This is just plain irresponsible.
