Devon Jay Kennelty, 28, of Homer passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 22, 2022, due to complications of acute diverticulitis which unfortunately resulted in sepsis. There will be a celebration of his life at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Down East Saloon in Homer. Black Jaxx food truck will be catering, courtesy of South Peninsula Hospital. This will be a very informal event. His wife Turena will make a speech around 6:15 p.m. and looks forward to seeing and talking with everyone. If you have the time, please write down a few memories or a story to leave for the family.
