The Divas Women’s Hockey team and Homer Hockey Association would like to thank all the local businesses and community members that made the 5th Annual Homer Jamboree Hockey Tournament a huge success. This was the largest tournament yet, with more than 80 women playing, many traveling from as far as Juneau, Fairbanks, Anchorage and Soldotna. The hospitality offered by our community was greatly appreciated. 

We would like to thank Beluga Lake Lodge for generously sponsoring the tournament every year. In addition, we thank Fritz Creek General Store, Homer’s Jeans, Alaska Training Room and AJ’s Steakhouse who sponsored teams for the event. 

Finally, there were numerous local organizations that donated items for our silent auction which helped raise money for scholarships and subsidize ice and tournament fees. The Divas Women’s Hockey team is thankful for the generosity of the many local businesses and proud to represent the community of Homer in women’s hockey.
