Firefighters and emergency medical technicians responded to 13 medical calls and three fire or rescue calls.

HVFD responded to a Kachemak Emergency Services mutual aid request for assistance at a structure fire.

HVFD responded to a motor vehicle collision at Main Street and the Sterling Highway.

Dec. 9

HVFD responded to a motor vehicle collision near Cole’s Market on East End Road.

Emergency medical technicians responded to four medical call and two fire calls.

Dec. 6-13

Firefighters and emergency medical technicians responded to 11 medical calls and two fire calls.

Homer Police

Dec. 7

Homer Police at 2:07 p.m. responded for a warrant arrest for a 31-year-old Homer man and arrested him on a warrant for failure to appear for arraignment.

Alaska State Troopers

Dec. 9

Alaska State Troopers at 3:20 p.m. received a 911 call of a death at a Clam Gulch address. Troopers said a 61-year-old Clam Gulch woman died of a gunshot wound. The woman’s next of kin were present. Troopers investigated the scene and determined no foul play was involved.
