Firefighters and emergency medical technicians went to four medical calls and nine fire calls.

Homer Police

Jan. 23

Homer Police contacted a driver, and arrested the 42-year-old Homer man for driving under the influence, refusing a chemical test and misconduct involving weapons.

Homer Police made contact with a suspicious vehicle and conducted a probations search. Officers arrested a 37-year-old Homer woman for an outstanding warrant.

Troopers

Jan. 24

At 2:25 p.m., Alaska State Troopers stopped a vehicle near Mile 171 Sterling Highway after recognizing the driver as someone who did not have a valid license. The driver was identified as a 34-year-old Ninilchik man. He was found to have a revoked driver’s license and was on conditions of release. The man was given a summons to appear in court and released.
