July 2
The Homer Police arrested a 37-year-old Sitka man for criminal trespass at 2:13 p.m.
July 3
The Homer Police made a traffic stop at 3:17 a.m., and arrested a 46-year-old Kenai man for driving under the influence. He was taken to the Homer Jail.
The Homer Police made a traffic stop at 11:16 p.m. and issued a 36-year-old Soldotna man a summons for driving with his license revoked.
July 4
The Homer Police responded to a home for a report of a disturbance at 6:52 a.m. and arrested a 30-year-old Homer woman for domestic violence-related fourth-degree assault. She was taken to the Homer Jail.
July 6
A 40-year-old Anchor Point woman turned herself in for two outstanding warrants: failure to appear in court on the original charges of second-degree harassment and failure to appear in court on the original charges of fourth-degree criminal mischief.
July 11
The Homer Police responded to a report of a disturbance at 3:34 a.m. and arrested a 38-year-old Fairbanks man for domestic violence-related fourth-degree assault. He was taken to the Homer Jail.
The Homer Police got a REDDI complaint at 1:38 p.m. Officers contacted the driver of the vehicle in question and arrested the 48-year-old Homer man for driving with his license revoked.
Troopers
July 6
At 2:59 p.m., Alaska State Troopers stopped a vehicle on the Sterling Highway near Pathfinder Road. The driver was identified as a 38-year-old Ninilchik man, who was found to have a revoked driver’s license. Further investigation showed the man was on conditions of release in a previous criminal case. He was charged with driving with his license revoked and violating conditions of release.
July 12
At 11:54 p.m., Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a single vehicle crash near Mile 7 East End Road. An investigation showed that a 49-year-old Anchorage woman was under the influence and had driven into the ditch. She was arrested and transported to the Homer Jail where she refused to provide a breath sample. The woman was remanded on charges of driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
