The Alaska Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault will hold its quarterly meeting at Land’s End Nov. 21-22. The agenda includes a public hearing focusing on the Homer Prevention Plan from 7-8:30 p.m. Nov. 21. Homer has been the recipient of four programs through the council — Girls on the Run, 4th R, Coaching Boys into Men and Green Dot — said Susan Phillips Cushing of Homer, who is serving as the council chair for the second term. The council consists of nine members including commissioners or designees from the departments of Public Safety, Corrections, Education and Early Development and Health and Social Services, and four public members.
