Rep. Sarah Vance (R-Homer) will host a number of public meetings next week on the southern Kenai Peninsula to give the public a chance to weigh in on the state budget.

The meetings, which Vance has announced as “budget conversations,” are scheduled for noon Thursday, Jan. 9 at the Ninilchik Senior Center; 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9 at the Funny River Community Center; 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10 at McNeil Canyon Elementary School out East End Road; and 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11 at Kachemak Bay Campus in Homer.

A meeting in Anchor Point is still to be announced, according to Vance’s announcement about the public budget talks.
