Drama, Debate and Forensics results
The Homer High School Drama, Debate and Forensics (DDF) season kicked off this past weekend with a tournament at South Anchorage High School. Students performed in a wide variety of events, including debate, public speaking and drama.
Results for Homer students are as follows:
Drama
2nd place in Humorous Interpretation – Thea Person (DMV Tyrant)
3rd place in Dramatic Interpretation – Thea Person (All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten)
1st place in Duet Acting – Asa Panarelli and Larry Dunn (History – and a Dash of Hollywood)
1st place in Reader’s Theater – Indigo Sonneborn, Anthony Melkomukov, Asa Panarelli, Larry Dunn, (Self-Defense Against Fruit)
2nd place in Reader’s Theater – Alex Franklin, Thea Person, Ben Rainwater, Judah Rainwater (Drag Cop in the Case of the Missing Jelly Filled or “Donut Make You Wonder”)
1st place in Pantomime – Ben and Judah Rainwater (The Chair)
2nd place in Pantomime – Alex Franklin (The Insanity Book)
