The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, in conjunction with the California Department of Corrections are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a fugitive sex offender, Marshals said in a press release.
Cash Allen Lewark, 41 is being sought on an outstanding warrant for probation violation stemming from a conviction for lewd acts with a minor in San Diego, Calif. Marshals said Lewark is known to have strong family ties in northern Alaska, Puyallap, Wash., and Reno, Nev., and may be coming to Alaska to fish. This might include the Kenai Peninsula.
Marshals described Lewark as 5-feet-7-inches, 175 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
His criminal history includes lewd acts with a minor, assault, battery and obstruction of a law enforcement officer. He is classified as mentally disturbed and should be considered armed and dangerous.
