Shoreline Golf set to open Friday

Shoreline Golf at Mile 6.5 East End Road opens at 10 a.m. Friday for the season. Regular hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The golf course was built in 1986 by current owners Dave and Beth Schroer. 

After selling it in 1994, the Schroers repurchased the golf course and opened it in 2012.

Fireweed Meadows also plans to open this weekend

Buzz Kyllonen, owner of Fireweed Meadows Golf Course in Anchor Point, is encouraging Mother Nature’s cooperation so the course can open this weekend.

Hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Fireweed Meadows is located on Milo Fritz Avenue, across from the Anchor Point Senior Center.
