Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited a 56-year-old Soldotna man for clamming in a closed area when he dug for razor clams on the Ninilchik beach.

Wildlife troopers cited a 40-year-old Anchor Point man for possessing undersized clams after he took 45 butter clams under 2.5 inches wide.

Wildlife troopers cited a 31-year-old Homer man for commercial fishing in closed waters in the Egegik District Area, Bristol Bay.
June 17
Alaska State Troopers at 12:01 p.m. received a report that 10 reflector stakes worth $50 had been stolen from a driveway near Mile 154 Sterling Highway in Anchor Point.
June 18
Troopers at 2:10 a.m. received a report of an assault at a Nanwalek home. Troopers went at noon to the home and after an investigation charged a 30-year-old Nanwalek man with fourth-degree assault, domestic violence. Troopers said the man assaulted a family member and caused minor injuries. Alcohol was a factor in the incident, troopers said.
Troopers at 9:36 a.m. went to a reported theft of a firearm and chainsaw from a Ninilchik home.
June 19
Troopers at 3:06 p.m. received a report that a 69-year-old Ninilchik man died at a Ninilchik home. The man was with a family member when he had a medical issue. The family member attempted to revive him until medics arrived. Medics attempted to revive the man and pronounced him dead when efforts were unsuccessful. Troopers contacted the State Medical Examiner and the man’s body was released to a local mortuary. No foul play was suspected.
June 20
Troopers at 11:17 a.m. contacted a 28-year-old Homer man at the Homer Harbor and arrested him on a warrant for fourth-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief, both domestic violence related.
