A caller at 9:14 a.m. reported theft of construction tools from a work site on Clearwater Drive. An officer spoke with the caller.
A caller at 2:17 p.m. reported an activated alarm on the Sterling Highway. An officer went to the scene and found the report was unfounded.
Nov. 13
An officer secured public bathrooms at 1:23 a.m. at Heath Street and Pioneer Avenue and at 1:30 a.m. at Pioneer Avenue and Bartlett Street.
A woman at 8:30 a.m. went to the police station with a civil issue. An officer assisted her.
A caller at 10:45 a.m. reported a vehicle had “been removed and driven” at Freight Dock Road. An officer responded to the scene.
A caller at 11:53 a.m. reported a pedestrian’s foot had been run over by a vehicle at Pioneer Avenue and Heath Street. An officer went to the scene.
A caller at 12:46 p.m. reported a vehicle collision on West Soundview Avenue that had caused damage. An officer responded.
A caller at 3:24 p.m. reported that a man was on his property on Ben Walters Lane. An officer responded but didn’t find anyone.
A caller at 3:54 p.m. requested police presence due to suspicious men in a store on East End Road.
Nov. 14
A caller at 8:08 a.m. made a Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately (REDDI) report on a vehicle at West Hill Road and Wythe Way. An officer contacted the driver and didn’t note any impairment.
A caller at 8:41 a.m. reported a vehicle collision at Pioneer Avenue and Kachemak Way that had caused damage and involved a pedestrian. An officer and medics responded to the scene.
A caller at 11:39 a.m. reported a missing patient on East Pioneer Avenue. Officers were on the lookout. The patient was later located by staff members.
A caller at 3:53 p.m. reported finding a bullet in a donation bin on Ocean Drive as well as recurring trespassing. An officer responded.
An officer at 6:25 p.m. contacted a vehicle in the ditch at Ben Walters Lane and Nielson Circle.
An officer at 7:16 p.m. tried to contact a wanted person in the Homer area, but was unable to locate them.
People at 7:40 p.m. went to the police station to report a runaway. The runaway was located and returned to the parents.
A caller at 8:58 p.m. reported a man violating conditions of release on East Beluga Circle. Officers went to the scene and arrested a 54-year-old man for violating conditions of release.
A caller at 10:56 p.m. reported a suspicious circumstance at a business on East Bunnell Avenue after hours. Officers went to the location and found the building was secure.

A caller at 10:59 a.m. reported a vehicle collision on Main Street that had caused injuries. An officer and medics responded.
A caller at 1:29 p.m. requested a welfare check on a person on Beluga Circle. An officer contacted the person and found everything was OK.
A caller at 3:08 p.m. reported a possibly injured bird on the beach at Mile 0.5 Spit Road. Officers notified the proper agency.
A caller at 5:35 p.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle at East End Road and Mariner Drive. An officer went to the area but the vehicle was already gone.
A caller at 6:44 p.m. reported a vehicle had knocked over a light post in a parking lot on East Fairview Avenue and then left.
Nov. 16
A caller at 8:34 a.m. reported a bicycle theft and criminal mischief on their property on the Sterling Highway. An officer contacted the complainant.
A man at 10:03 a.m. went to the police station to report an abandoned vehicle at a local business on Main Street. Officers found the report was unfounded.
A caller at 3:22 p.m. reported sending money to a scam on Mountain View Drive. An officer was advised.
A caller at 4:48 p.m. reported a stolen vehicle on Heath Street. An officer contacted the driver of the vehicle and found out it was a civil issue. The two people were separated for the night.
A caller at 5:46 p.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle at East End Road and Adams Road. An officer went to the scene and contacted the driver, but didn’t detect any impairment.
A caller at 6:29 p.m. reported a man outside of a closed business on Woodside Avenue. An officer went to the location but the man was already gone.
An out of country caller at 7:42 p.m. reported information “pertaining to national security.” An officer spoke with the caller.
An officer at 10:50 p.m. assisted medics on China Poot Street.
A caller at 11 p.m. reported a vehicle speeding in a residential area at Whispering Meadow and West Terrace Boulevard and also reported possible trespassing on private property. An officer went to the scene but didn’t locate anyone.
Nov. 17
Multiple callers at 12:55 p.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle at Greatland Street and the Homer Bypass. Officers contacted the driver and gave them a DUI warning.
A caller at 8:52 p.m. reported a person with a flashlight outside a closed business on East Pioneer Avenue. Officers responded to the location but didn’t find anyone there.
Nov. 18
A caller at 7:20 a.m. reported a barking dog on Rochelle Road in the area of his home. The caller said it was an ongoing problem. An officer responded.
Multiple callers at 9:25 a.m. reported a disturbance between a man and a woman in the roadway at Ben Walters Lane and Lakeside Drive. Officers went to the scene and separated them. They found no crime had been committed.
A caller at 12:35 p.m. reported a vehicle in the roadway blocking traffic at West Hill Road and Reber Road. An officer went to the location and assisted the driver.
Multiple callers at 2:09 p.m. reported a fuel leak on the roadway at Highland Drive and Sprucewood Drive.
A caller at 3:42 p.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle at Mile 172.5 Sterling Highway. Officers contacted the driver and didn’t note any impairment.
Nov. 19
A caller at 12:52 a.m. reported damage had been done to their home on Beluga Circle. Officers went to the scene and found no crime had been committed.
A person at 1:01 a.m. flagged down an officer at Lake Street and the Homer Bypass to report an assault. An officer gave the person a ride to the hospital.
An officer at 5:33 a.m. contacted people at long term parking on Kachemak Drive.
Troopers
Oct. 3
On Oct. 3, Alaska State Troopers received a report from school district officials that a 15-year-old male student had used social media to send and ask for nude photographs of underage classmates. An investigation was conducted and charges are being forwarded on the male to the Division of Juvenile Justice.
Nov. 14
Alaska State Troopers at about noon received a report of a two vehicle crash on North Fork Road near Mark Lane in Anchor Point. An investigation showed a vehicle being driven by a 42-year-old Anchor Point man was on North Fork Road when it crossed the center line and struck a vehicle being driven by a 48-year-old Anchor Point man. The first man was not wearing a seat belt and sustained serious injuries. The second man received minor injuries in the crash. The 42-year-old man was transported to South Peninsula Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
