Heidijo films music video

Homer musician Heidijo films a video from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday at AJ’s OldTown Steakhouse. She will perform her song, “Honeytune,” for a music video. The song will be on her first album, “Magazine Street,” recently recorded in New Orleans after a successful Kickstarter fundraising campaign.

“Magazine Street” is still in the mixing and editing stage of production, and is tentatively slated for release in late April.

FilmJam is Friday

Filmmaker Michael Walsh and multimedia artist Kayla Spaan present “FilmJam” from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Friday at Bunnell Street Arts Center. With DJ Steve Collins, several projectors, old 16mm film and local burlesque performers, the event mixes found film with live performances.

Walsh also conducts a filmmaking workshop from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Bunnell Street Arts Center. For more information, email slideruleblue@gmail.com.

Salem performs with ski film at Down East

Musical group Salem performs after the showing of ski film “Being There” at 8 p.m. March 27 at the Down East. Filmed in Norway, “Being There” is the eighth film from Field Productions and features amazing ski action with awesome scenery paired with music by Salem.

With Thomas Haupt, Mike Facey and Todd Anders Johnson, Salem’s music is frequently featured in ski and snowboard adventure films. Admission is $7.
