Meet Lucy! She is a 5-year-old female. How is this dog still here? She’s an all around lovely dog who just wants to be with her humans and enjoy life. She is super friendly with humans yet can be a bit picky about her dog friends.

Lucy loves long walks on the beach and afterwards would be happy as a clam to sit on your lap and relax. She has lived with dogs, cats and in a busy household now she is ready to get all the attention.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m.-4 pm. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 235-3141.
