Thursday, Aug. 27, at 5:30 p.m. at Homer City Hall, is a very important meeting of the Homer Cannabis Advisory Board. To cannabis advocates and interested parties: your input is necessary to let our government know our wishes and put into effect what we voted for last November. Please come to the commission meeting and let your voice be heard.

The issue we are most focused on this week: Alaska state regulations are proposing to ban cannabis social clubs.  We think the Alaska and local economies would drive away a huge amount of potential canna-tourism dollars by banning social clubs, not to mention B&Bs, cafes, music clubs, cannabis tours and other canna-tourism businesses.
