Alaska State Troopers at 8:15 p.m. received a “report every dangerous driver immediately” complaint of a driver in Anchor Point. Troopers stopped the suspect driver, a 47-year-old Anchor Point man, and arrested him for driving under the influence and driving while license revoked.
Troopers at 4:30 p.m. received a report of an assault in Port Graham. Troopers went to Port Graham and arrested a 37-year-old Port Graham man for allegedly assaulting a family member. He was taken to the Homer Jail without incident.
Nov. 2
Troopers at 5:05 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 52-year-old Anchor Point man in Homer. Troopers alleged the man possessed methadone but did not have a prescription and that he violated his probation. Troopers arrested the man and took him to the Homer Jail.
Nov. 4
Troopers at 8:03 p.m. made a traffic stop in Homer of a 16-year-old boy. They allege he possessed marijuana and referred charges to the Division of Juvenile Justice. The boy was released to his mother.
Nov. 5
Alaska State Troopers at 6:22 p.m. went to a car crash on East End Road near Thurston Drive. Troopers said a 41-year-old Homer woman rolled her 2007 Subaru Impreza after losing traction on the snowy road. The woman wore her seat belt and was uninjured.
Troopers at 11:11 p.m. went to a report of a male driver in a Chevrolet Cobalt who slid off the road and hit a culvert in the ditch near Mile 5 East End Road. The driver had minor injuries from the airbag deploying and was taken to South Peninsula Hospital where he was treated and released. Troopers allege a driver in a pickup truck, possible a GMC, driving in the opposite lane crossed the center line and caused the Cobalt driver to take evasive action and slide into the ditch. Anyone with information on the identity of the pickup driver is asked to call troopers at 235-3000.
Nov. 10
Troopers at 9:53 p.m. went to a disturbance in progress at a Homestead Drive home near Ninilchik. Troopers allege a drunk man broke down a door and window and entered the home. He was arrested for first-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief and sixth-degree misconduct involved a controlled substance.
Nov. 12
Troopers at 12:12 a.m. made a traffic stop on a 53-year-old Homer woman in Anchor Point. Troopers allege the woman possessed methamphetamines and arrested her.
