Alaska State Troopers at 8:09 a.m. received a report of a suspicious person siphoning fuel in the area of Dorothy Drive in Homer. Troopers alleged a 35-year-old Homer man had broken into an outside garage and trespassed on several properties on Dorothy Drive, stolen fuel and gas cans, and damaged a garage door and a fuel door on a vehicle. Troopers said the man also possessed metal knuckles while riding an ATV. Troopers arrested the man on a probation violation. Charges of burglary, theft, criminal trespassing, criminal mischief and weapons misconduct will be forwarded to the district attorney’s office.
Troopers at 9:40 p.m. received a report of a fight in progress in the Homestead Road area of Ninilchik. Troopers said a 24-year-old Ninilchik woman assaulted a 53-year-old Ninilchik woman and a 27-year-old Ninilchik woman. Troopers arrested the 24-year-old woman for second-degree assault and fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.

Troopers at 3:42 p.m. went to a two-vehicle collision near Mile 4.5 East End Road. Troopers said a 37-year-old Homer man driving a Toyota pickup truck slowed for a car turning ahead and was hit from behind by a 1999 Honda CRV driven by a 36-year-old Homer woman. No one was injured and alcohol was not a factor. The truck had minor damage while the Honda was totaled.
Troopers at 4:37 p.m. went to a single-car crash near Mile 161.5 Sterling Highway in Anchor Point. Troopers said a 26-year-old Homer man driving north in a Subaru lost control on icy road and went into the ditch. The car rolled onto its side. The man wore a seatbelt and was not injured, but the car had major damage.
