900 people ‘take day to be well’

The 31st Annual Rotary Health Fair is over and it was a terrific success. We welcomed more than 900 people through the doors on Saturday.

Low cost blood tests were provided thanks to our partnership with South Peninsula Hospital. We are fortunate to have these incredible professionals here at the end of the road. After 30-plus years this partnership continues to flourish in support of wellness in our community.

We had informational booths with top notch exhibitors providing free information to the public on many topics about health and wellness. Two hundred free flu shots purchased by the Homer Kachemak Bay Rotary Club were administered by Seldovia Health and Wellness staff.

Once again the Homer News went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the public had lots of accurate and interesting information about our event. From the map for the layout to a complete exhibitor list, we thank you for your continued support.

On behalf of the 50 men and women of the Homer Kachemak Bay Rotary Club we thank everyone for your participation and support of the Rotary Health Fair. We hope you continue to “Take A Day to Be Well.”
