A caller at 3:21 p.m. reported snow accumulation on the North Fork Road. Police notified the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities.
A caller at 4:47 p.m. reported possible animal neglect. The caller also called the animal control officer.
A caller at 9:19 p.m. reported a drunk men in a Pioneer Avenue parking lot with a woman and possibly causing a disturbance. Police responded and issued a man a driving under the influence warning.
March 11
Police at 12:29 a.m. noticed a car with its door open in a parking lot of a Kachemak Drive business. Police secured the car door.
A caller at 12:56 a.m. made a noise complaint of people in several rooms at a Spit hotel. Police responded and issued disorderly conduct warnings to several parents.
A woman at 11:20 a.m. reported theft of items from a Lake Street home.
A person at 9:11 p.m. reported theft of items from a Fairview Avenue home.
A woman at 9:27 p.m. reported two dogs attacked her on Bishop’s Beach. Police contacted the owner of the dogs and it was agreed by all parties involved that the dogs would be leashed as a solution to the issue. The woman had a minor injury with no broken skin.
Police at 9:45 p.m. made a traffic stop on a person driving on Crittenden Drive. Police contacted a 23-year-old man with an outstanding warrant and arrested him.
A person at 10:31 p.m. made an anonymous 911 call reporting a possible domestic dispute in Missoula, Mont. Police gave the information to the responding police department.
March 12
A woman at 9:28 a.m. reported the theft of a phone from a car parked at a Ben Walters Lane parking lot.
Police at 10:12 a.m. arrested a 21-year-old woman on outstanding warrants.
A caller at 3:54 p.m. reported seeing again unauthorized people staying at a vacant rental home on Jennifer Place. Police responded and saw signs of occupation.
March 13
A caller at 2:48 a.m. reported a suspicious vehicle on the Spit. Police responded and warned a man for having expired registration.
A man at 5:41 a.m. reported a tree down in the road on Rochelle Avenue.
Several callers at 12:39 p.m. reported a vehicle in the ditch on Ben Walters Lane. Police warned a person for reckless driving.
March 14
A caller at 1:40 p.m. reported icy road conditions on East End Road.
A caller at 1:44 p.m. reported icy road conditions on Ocean Drive.
A person at 2:40 p.m. made a 911 call of a vehicle in the ditch on East Hill Road but with no damage or injuries.
A man and woman at 4:37 p.m. went to the police station and reported a dispute.
A man at 5:02 p.m. reported trapping a feral cat and asked for help in taking it to the animal control shelter.
March 15
A caller at 9:50 a.m. asked for options regarding issuing a trespass notice to a person from a public building.
A caller at 2:35 p.m. reported being concerned for a juvenile.
A caller at 8:15 p.m. reported a loud noise coming from a Lake Street home. Police responded.
A caller at 9:56 p.m. reported a person unwilling to leave a Sterling Highway business. Police responded and issued the person a trespass notice.
March 16
Police at 12:05 a.m. contacted a 64-year-old woman driving on Pioneer Avenue and arrested her for driving under the influence.
A man at 2:59 a.m. reported a suspicious person sprinting on Lake Street. Police responded.
A caller at 5:01 a.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a drunk man walking in the road on Bartlett Street. Police could not locate the man.
Several callers at 11:33 a.m. reported an injured or sick otter on the Spit.
A caller at 5:09 p.m. reported a child being transported unsafely on a snowmobile on Sprucewood Drive.
Police at 7:09 p.m. arrested a 53-year-old woman on an outstanding warrant at a Grubstake Avenue address.
A person at 9:16 p.m. reported a person tried to get into a Sterling Highway church. Police responded. A man volunteered to meet with a mental health worker and was taken to South Peninsula Hospital.
