A man at 8:43 a.m. reported a car-moose collision near Mile 4.5 East End Road.
A man at 2 p.m. reported his daughter forged checks.
A caller at 7:12 p.m. reported a theft from a Greatland Street address.
A person at 11:11 p.m. made a 911 call of an assaultive man at a Fairview Avenue address. Police responded and arrested a 27-year-old man on two counts of fourth-degree assault and interfering with a report of domestic violence.

A caller at 2:48 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a woman at a Fairview Avenue address. Police responded and found the woman was OK.
A woman at 4:38 p.m. reported receiving unwanted phone calls from a man.
A man at 6:30 p.m. reported a vehicle in the ditch and a possible drunk driver on Ben Walters Lane. Police responded and arrested the driver, a 58-year-old man, for driving under the influence.

A caller at 7:58 a.m. reported a suicide attempt. Police responded.
A woman at 12:33 p.m. visited the police station regarding problems with a teenager.
A man at 2:30 p.m. reported a theft from a boat at the harbor.

A caller at 1:15 p.m. reported an attempted break-in on a boat at the harbor.
Police at 11:09 p.m. contacted a 28-year-old woman driving on Bear Creek Drive and arrested her for driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
Jan. 25
A woman at 11:45 a.m. reported a person had not returned a car and drove it without permission. Police contacted both parties involved and determined the complaint was unfounded. Police had the car towed.
A woman at 2:15 p.m. provided drug information.
A caller at 3 p.m. reported possible drug activity at a West Hill Road area rental property.
A woman at 10:30 p.m. reported a domestic dispute at a Ben Walters Lane address. Police responded.
Police at 10:25 p.m. assisted Alaska State Troopers with a vehicle search.

A caller at 4:25 a.m. reported a possible downed power line on Kachemak Drive. Police responded, closed the road and notified Homer Electric Association.
A caller at 9:20 a.m. reported a patient might try to leave a Bartlett Street health clinic against medical advice.
Police at 5:35 p.m. helped the fire department assist with a search and rescue at Bishop’s Beach for a 19-year-old man. The man was found and all was OK.
