Special Olympics needs Bocce partners (season runs June through early September); volunteers for the local swimming and basketball competitions on Saturday, May 7; a media person; fundraising committee members; and space to store sports equipment, uniforms, etc.

Hospice of Homer needs volunteers to help with the annual Holes “Fore” Hospice Golf Tournament; a copy of “My Degeneration” for its lending library; a flat screen TV/DVD/VHS player; volunteers to place flyers about events, around Homer and in Anchor Point; standing file racks for desktop; two-drawer black file cabinets with locks; and volunteers to maintain the Hospice Memorial Garden.
