In the spirit of the recent Mr. Homer Pageant and Outhouse Races, “Homer Events” is at it again, and this time they’re going right to the limit of crazy, hosting a “Conspiracy Night.” Every once in a while it’s kind of fun to go out on a limb, and here’s a chance to do just that — plus eat a hot dog or two.
There will be a very, very strange meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at the Down East Saloon, and although everyone is invited, it’s entirely possible that no one will show up. It is also possible that it will be standing-room only. The only certain fact is that there will be free (excellent) hot dogs, etc. in exchange for a voluntary $5 door charge.
Whether you believe the crazy conspiracy stuff, or laugh at the “nut jobs” who do, everyone is welcome to add their two-cents worth to this unique evening. There will definitely be laughing, and there will probably be a few moments where even the most skeptical will do some thinking.
Considering world-wide events, just maybe we are living in a dangerous time.
If you watched “The X Files” you know that the truth is out there. We’re going to go looking for some of those truths … wearing tinfoil hats.
