Judgments
Alexander W. McFarland, 26, pleaded guilty to driving while license suspended. He was sentenced to 20 days in jail with 10 days suspended and ordered to perform 80 hours of community work service to satisfy jail time; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $100 probation surcharge with $100 suspended; had his driver’s license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for two years. He also pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault on a peace officer and was fined $500 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 120 days suspended.
Frank J. Watson, 38, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal trespass. He was fined $500 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 20 days in jail with 15 days suspended and ordered to perform 40 hours of community work service to satisfy jail time; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $100 probation surcharge with $100 suspended; and was placed on probation for one year.
Joseph F. Kaviksaag Newton, 20, pleaded guilty to habitual minor consuming alcohol. He was sentenced to 40 days in jail with 40 days suspended and ordered to perform 96 hours of community work service; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $100 probation surcharge with $100 suspended and the $330 cost of imprisonment; had his driver’s license revoked for 12 months; and was placed on probation for one year.
Christian C. Chavez, 21, pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal trespassing. He was fined $500 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 40 days in jail with 35 days suspended and ordered to perform 40 hours of community work service to satisfy jail time; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; and was placed on probation for one year.
Dora R. Macauly, 24, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree theft. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $100 probation surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered not to have contact with Ulmer’s Drug and Hardware; and was placed on probation for one year.
Anthony A. Hays, 62, pleaded guilty at his arraignment to fourth-degree theft. He was fined $500 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 50 days in jail with 49 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered not to have contact with the Happy Valley Store; and was placed on probation for two years. He also pleaded guilty at his arraignment on a separate charge of second-degree criminal trespass and was sentenced to 20 days in jail with 18 days suspended and ordered not to have contact with the Homer Public Library.
