Throughout the last months of my high school career, I was very lucky to have many generous businesses offer me scholarships to take me to my next step of life. 

First, I would love to thank the Homer Foundation for providing me with two scholarships, one funded by Kachemak Bay Medical Clinic and the other by Homer Community Science Fund. These two I’m especially grateful for because they both have two values that I admire and strive for, work ethic and science. 

I am also appreciative to Homer Electric Association and Icicle Seafoods for contributing funds for my future education. I’m truly excited to head up to UAF next fall, and with these businesses support, I can continue my path of getting a degree in chemistry. Thank you.
