A woman at 11:35 a.m. reported a missing child at Bishop’s Beach. The child was located.
A caller at 12:34 p.m. reported an expected death at home of an 82-year-old man.
A man at 3:20 p.m. reported the back window broken of a car parked at a Jenny Way address.
A woman at 4 p.m. reported losing a locket on the Spit multiuse trail.

A caller at 2:51 a.m. reported suspicious people at a Bartlett Street business.
A woman at 4:20 a.m. reported a theft on July 13 at a Fairview Avenue address.
A caller at 6:54 a.m. asked for transportation to Anchor Point.
A man at 10:34 a.m. reported a suspicious vehicle at his Pioneer Avenue property. Police responded and advised the men to leave the property.
Police at 12:06 p.m. investigated a report of smoke at an Elderberry Drive address. Police found a warming fire. All was OK.
A man at 12:15 p.m. reported the theft of a boat from a Ternview Place address.
A woman at 1:50 p.m. reported a domestic dispute at Bishop’s Beach.
An employee at 3:31 p.m. reported detaining shoplifters at a Lake Street business. Police charged a boy with fourth-degree theft.

A caller at 12:17 a.m. reported people violating day camping rules on the Spit. Police responded and resolved an issue regarding fees and campsite location.
A caller at 8:31 a.m. reported an incident of shoplifting. Police issued a trespass notice to a man.
A man at 9:56 a.m. reported a bicycle was stolen from a Svedlund Street address.
Police at 10:38 a.m. found articles of clothing in Ben Walters Park.
A caller at 10:52 a.m. reported an assault at a Sterling Highway hotel. The caller also asked that a trespass notice be given to a person.
A woman at 11:57 a.m. reported a stolen cell phone.
Police at 12:58 p.m. recovered at Bishop’s Beach a car that had been reported stolen by Alaska State Troopers.
Police at 11:58 a.m. handed over forfeited phones to a phone company.
A caller at 2:49 p.m. reported a suspicious person with an open-carry firearm at a Sterling Highway address.
A man at 4:27 p.m. reported an incoherent pedestrian walking in the middle of the Sterling Highway.
A caller at 6:50 p.m. reported being concerned over a pallet bonfire planned on the Spit beach. Police responded and determined all was OK and the fire would be monitored by a youth group.
Police at 10:59 p.m. made a traffic stop on a car on the Sterling Highway. Police arrested a 24-year-old man for violating conditions of release and a 54-year-old woman for violation of custodian’s duty.
July 17
Police at 5:35 a.m. went to a Sterling Highway store for a report of shoplifting.
A city worker at 1:16 p.m. reported loitering at Ben Walters Park.
A caller at 5:27 p.m. reported a disturbance at the Alaska Division of Motor Vehicles. Police responded.
A caller at 5:28 p.m. reported a gunshot wound due to a firearm accident.
A woman at 6:35 p.m. reported a swan on Beluga Lake might be injured. Police notified the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
A caller at 5:53 p.m. reported finding a tailgate on Kachemak Drive.
A person at 9:56 p.m. made a “report every dangerous driver immediately” complaint of a driver at Karen Hornaday Park. Police contacted the suspect car and arrested a 33-year-old woman on an outstanding warrant. No impairment was seen.
July 18
A man at 1:40 a.m. flagged down an officer and patrol and asked police to do a welfare check on a person.
