Sept. 3
A caller at 6:41 p.m. reported hearing subjects yelling on Crittenden Drive. An officer responded and discovered a verbal-only domestic dispute between family members.
At 11:54 p.m. an officer conducted a welfare check on a person outside a business on the Homer Bypass. All was OK.
Sept. 4
At 6:21 a.m. a caller reported gunshots in the neighborhood of Aspen Lane. An officer responded, but was unable to locate the source.
At 10:15 a.m. a caller reported a suicidal male. Officers responded and transported the man to South Peninsula Hospital.
At 11:18 a.m. a caller reported damage to a retaining wall on East Pioneer Avenue by unknown bicyclists and requested extra patrols in the area.
At 11:24 a.m., an Era Aviation employee reported a male in the restrooms all morning who would not leave. Officers responded and the male left the area.
At 11:45 a.m., an officer assisted the Homer Volunteer Fire Department on a report of smoke behind South Peninsula Hospial. It was a controlled burn.
A caller at 12:59 p.m. reported two racks of unknown animal ribs to the side of a trail off the Homer Bypass. Police responded.
At 3:18 p.m., a business reported a suspect in a prior shoplifting incident was on the premises. Police responded, but the suspect was gone.
At 5:44 p.m., multiple callers requested a welfare check on a male pedestrian that was possibly intoxicated. Police responded, but no impairment was noted.
At 6:56 p.m., a 51-year-old man was arrested on Svedlund Street for driving while intoxicated and taken to jail.
At 6:43 p.m., police seized a small amount of drugs and drug paraphenalia at a campground.
At 8:35 p.m., officers responded to East End Road after a Report Every Drunk Driver Immediately call. A 41-year-old woman was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and violating conditions of release.
At 11:44 p.m., a caller reported a disturbance on Klondike Avenue. Police responded and transported a 51-year-old man to the hospital.
Sept. 6
A woman, at 7:56 a.m., reported a traffic hazard at mile two and a half East End Road. An officer was uable to locate.
At 8:20 a.m. a caller reported a blue chevy damaged property and left a Sterling Highway business. An officer contacted the driver.
A caller at 8:20 a.m., reported a 43-year-old man sleeping in the hallway of a Spit Road business. The man was gone before officers could be advised.
A woman, at 9:13 a.m., reported items taken from her vehicle at an East Pioneer Avenue business. An officer went to the scene.
At 11:25 a.m., officers responded to a possible domestic dispute at a Sterling Highway, home.
A woman, at 12:29, requested a tresspass order at an Ocean Drive business. Officers arrested a 27-year-old man for criminal tresspass.
A caller, at 12:57 p.m., reported suspicious activity at the dump. An officer advised the caller.
At 1:20 p.m., a woman reported items stolen from her Heath Street home.
At 2:03 p.m., a woman reported her camper trailer had been stolen from Freight Dock Road.
At 8:04 p.m., a man reported motorhomes camping illegally near the Fishing Hole. An officer was advised.
At 8:52 p.m., a caller with an outside agency report a possible REDDI driver. Officers found no crime had been committed.
At 9:37 p.m., a man requested a welfare check on a man in a Klondike Avenue home. Officers were unable to locate the man.
Sept. 7
At 12:02a.m., a man reported roomates in a domestic dispute. Officers went to the scene.
At 1:02 a.m., a woman complained of loud music from a neighboring business. Officers advised the business to lower the music.
At 1:12 a.m., Alaska State Troopers made a REDDI report near West Hill Road on Sterling Hwy. A 34-year-old man was arrested for DUI and driving while license revoked.
At 4:32 a.m., a man reported an intoxicated woman refused to leave his Soundview Avenue home. An officer separated the parties for the evening.
At 5:15 a.m., a man reported a man standing in Homer Spit Road waving his arms. An officer contacted the man and provided transport to the man’s campsite.
At 11:53 a.m., a caller reported a man outside a Lake Street business harassing customers. The man left before officers could arrive at the scene.
At 6:10 p.m., a man reported suspiscious activity at a Ben Walters Lane home.
A woman, at 7:11 p.m., reported a civil issue regarding poperty lines. An officer advised her of her options.
Sept. 8
At 2:41 a.m during a traffic stop, a 21-year-old woman was arrested on a prior warrant for failure to appear on East Pioneer Avenue.
At 2:54 a.m. during a trafic stop on Pioneer Avenue, a woman was arrested for DWLS and misconduct involving a controlled substance.
At 9:57 a.m. an officer advised a caller of their options regaring a temporary restraining order.
At 12:19 p.m. a man reported a hit and run on Mattox Street.
At 4:16 p.m., a man reported someone for trespassing. officers arrested an 18-year-old man for minor consuming alcohol as a repeat offender.
At 4:39 p.m. a woman reported harassment by her neighbor. After the fact, an officer advised her of her options.
At 6:45p.m., a man reported a juvenile vandalising a foreclosed property. An officer contacted the juvenile’s parents.
At 10:15 p.m., a woman reported suspicious noise at the West Hill property she was caring for. Officers were unable to locate anything suspicious.
At 10:23 p.m., an officer assisted with a medical emergency at Haven House.
Sept. 9
At 11:12 p.m. a caller reported two men in a verbal dispute at an East Pioneer Avenue hotel. One man left on foot.
At 11:20 p.m., multiple callers reported gunshots in the Main Street area. Officers contacted individuals lighting fireworks and advised them of the city ordinance.
A woman, at 6:08 a.m., reported suspicious noises outsider her Pineview Road residence. An officer went to the scene and found all OK.
At 2:50 p.m., a caller reported a subject violating conditions of release.
AT 3:06 p.m., a woman reported a vehicle in a William’s Place ditch. An officer found everyone was OK.
At 6:35 p.m., a caller reported an intoxicated pedestrian on Ocean Drive. A 49-year-old man was taken into protective custody and housed at Homer jail.
At 7:03 p.m., a caller reported their adult son missing for over a week.
A caller at 10:18 p.m., reported a man tresspassing on Highland Drive. Officers provided transport from the scene.
At 11:10 p.m. an officer contacted a vehicle illegally camping and advised them to find a new camping spot.
Sept. 10
At 4:08 a.m., a caller reported a disturbance on Sterling Highway. Officers went to the scene and issued a disorderly conduct warning to a 62-year-old man.
At 8:31 a.m., the Homer court issued an arrest warrant for failure to appear. Officers arrested a 66-year-old man.
At 12:29 p.m., a man reported being assaulted. Officers at the scene arrested a 55-year-old woman for violating conditions of release.
At 1:33 p.m., a driver was advised of his revoked driving status on Spit Road.
At 3:30 p.m. a subject presented themself for sex offender registration.
At 9:30 p.m., a caller repoted a man entered and needed to be tresspassed from an East Pioneer Avenue business. Officers were unable to locate him.
Sept. 11
At 7:54 a.m. a caller reported a break-in at an East Pioneer Avenue business. An officer went to the scene.
At 10:08 a.m. a caller reported than an electrical box had been tampered with. Officers advised.
A 911 caller at 10:33 a.m., reported an East Pioneer Avenue. Business had been broken into.
At 1:07 p.m., a woman made a REDDI report on the Crittenden Drive area of Sterling Highway. Officers were unable to locate.
At 3:45 p.m. a caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the Beluga Lake Lodge parking lot.
At 3:47 p.m., a 42-year-old man was taken into protective custody and housed at Homer jail.
Sept. 12
At 12:28 a.m., a man reported a male loitering at the Homer Airport. Officers tresspassed the man during non-business hours.
At 2:17 a.m. the Homer harbormaster reported six abandoned vehicles.
At 3:45 a.m. a man made a 911 cal and reported a prowler on Frisbee Court. Officers were unable to locate the prowler.
