Jason R. Gates, 42, pleaded guilty to a 2003 charge of driving while license revoked. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 20 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; had his driver’s license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for two years. He also pleaded guilty to failure to appear in court and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended.
Kayla H. Hanley, 18, pleaded guilty to minor consuming alcohol. She was fined $600 with $400 suspended, with the option of performing community work service at the rate of $6.25 an hour to satisfy the fine; and was ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program. She also pleaded guilty to third-degree theft and was fined $1,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 150 days suspended. She also pleaded guilty to fraudulent use of an access device and was fined $500 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended; ordered to apply for an Alaska Permanent Fund dividend and pay restitution; ordered not to go to the Fred Meyer store in Soldotna; and placed on probation for three years.
Darren S. Husz, 29, pleaded guilty to sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. He was fined $1,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 40 days in jail with 33 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to forfeit items seized; and was placed on probation for two years.
Kenneth A. Hopkins, 37, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of reckless endangerment. He was fined $1,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 45 days in jail with 40 days suspended; ordered to perform 40 hours of community work service; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to provide a DNA sample upon request; and was placed on probation for one year.
Kayla J. Yotter, 22, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of fourth-degree assault. She was sentenced to 310 days in jail with 300 days suspended and ordered to perform 80 hours of community work service; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to provide a DNA sample on request; ordered to get a mental health evaluation and not contact her victim; ordered to apply for an Alaska Permanent Fund dividend and pay restitution; and was placed on probation for three years.
Amber Coila, 22, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal mischief, domestic violence. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 25 days suspended and ordered to perform 40 hours of community work service; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; and was placed on probation for one year.
Scott T. Turner, 45, pleaded guilty to taking a sublegal moose. He was fined $500 with $200 suspended; ordered to pay $10 to support the Police Training Fund; ordered to forfeit moose meat and antlers; and was placed on probation for one year.

Zachary A. William, 16, pleaded guilty to minor consuming alcohol. Imposition of sentence was suspended and he was referred to the Kenai Peninsula Youth Court and placed on probation for one year.
Nick L. Nelson, 47, Anchor Point, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was fined $4,000 with $1,000 suspended and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 140 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $1,467 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his driver’s license revoked for one year; and was placed on probation for three years. He also pleaded guilty to violating conditions of release and was fined $500 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 70 days in jail with 60 days suspended.
