At 6 p.m. Monday, the Homer Council on the Arts holds “Writers Refuge” with author Katey Schultz at the Homer Public Library. The author of the short story collection, “Flashes of War,” the 2013 Military Writers Society of America Book of the Year, Schultz presents a craft talk, “Where Research Meets the Imagination.”
