Oct. 27

While on patrol near Mile 161 Sterling Highway in Anchor Point, Alaska State Troopers at 3:50 p.m. saw a passenger in a northbound tan Ford pickup truck. Troopers recognized the passenger as a 23-year-old man known to have an outstanding warrant. Troopers stopped the truck and ran a records check on the man, verifying his warrant, and arrested him.

Oct. 31

Alaska State Troopers at 6:17 p.m. went to a report of an assault in Nanwalek. Troopers said a 55-year-old Nanwalek man assaulted a family member, causing injury and fear. The man also had two prior convictions in the past 10 years for assault, and they arrested the man for third-degree assault.
