Judgments

Mathew P. Roderick, 37, charges dismissed, sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, trapping without a license, possessing or transporting illegally taken game, two counts failure to seal a trapped lynx. He pleaded guilty to taking a lynx in a closed season. He was fined $3,000 with $2,500 suspended and sentenced to 20 days in jail with 20 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund; ordered to forfeit seized lynx hides and traps; had his trapping license revoked for three years; and was placed on probation for three years.

Adam D. Mahoney-Ardenia, 18, charges dismissed, leaving the scene of an accident, 2011 charge, and driving without a license, 2012 charge. He pleaded guilty to an amended charge of no vehicle operator’s license. He was fined $300. He also pleaded guilty to a 2012 charge of reckless driving. He was fined $500 with $250 suspended and sentenced to 50 days in jail with 40 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; had his driver’s license revoked for 30 days; and was placed on probation for one year.

Nikit E. Matveev, 18, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was fined $2,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 60 days in jail with 57 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $330 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his driver’s license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for one year.

Leonty I. Polushkin, 21, pleaded guilty to a 2012 charge of minor consuming alcohol. Imposition of sentence was suspended subject to the condition that he successfully complete an alcohol information school. He also pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail with five days suspended and ordered to complete 40 hours of community work service to satisfy jail time; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; and was placed on probation for one year.

Mark S. McConnell, 44, Anchor Point, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was fined $2,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $330 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his driver’s license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for one year.

Julianne R. Spellman, 47, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of reckless driving. She was fined $500 and sentenced to 60 days in jail with 55 days suspended and ordered to complete 40 hours of community work service to satisfy jail time; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program; had her driver’s license revoked for 30 days; and was placed on probation for two years.

Derek T. Johnson, 16, pleaded guilty to minor consuming alcohol. Imposition of sentence was suspended subject to the condition that he report to the Kenai Peninsula Youth Court.

Nellie J. Huffman, 52, pleaded guilty to not having a valid operator’s license. She was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 80 days suspended and ordered to complete 80 hours of community work service to satisfy jail time; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; and was placed on probation for two years.

Brandon J. Gomez, 26, Anchor Point, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was fined $4,000 with $1,000 suspended and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 160 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $1,467 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his driver’s license revoked for one year; and was placed on probation for three years.

Donald E. Mullikin, 64, pleaded guilty to reckless driving. He was fined $1,000 with $7,500 suspended and sentenced to 40 days in jail with 35 days suspended and ordered to complete 40 hours of community work service to satisfy jail time; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; had his driver’s license revoked for 60 days, with a limited license issued for work purposes only; and was placed on probation for one year.

Sharlene M. Louk, 39, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. She was fined $2,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 85 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $330 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his driver’s license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for two years.

Martin E. White Jr., 30, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of fourth-degree assault. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 160 days suspended and ordered to perform 160 hours of community work service to satisfy jail time; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to apply for an Alaska Permanent Fund dividend and pay restitution; ordered to enroll in and complete an anger management class; ordered not to have contact with his victim; and was placed on probation for three years.

Joseph L. Peebles, 30, pleaded guilty to interfering with a report of domestic violence. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail with 55 days suspended and ordered to perform 40 hours of community work service to satisfy jail time; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered not to contact his victims; and was placed on probation for one year.

James E. Pollack II, 36, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to time served and was ordered to pay $5 to support the Police Training Fund and a $50 jail surcharge.

Shelly M. Carl, 21, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree theft. Imposition of sentence was suspended subject to the condition that she perform 24 hours of community work service. She was placed on probation for one year.

Charles C. Johnson, 45, pleaded guilty to failure to give immediate notice of an accident. He was fined $200 and sentenced to 40 days in jail with 35 days suspended and ordered to perform 40 hours of community work service to satisfy jail time; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $100 probation surcharge with $100 suspended; and was placed on probation for one year.

Sherry L. Catterfield, 50, pleaded guilty to failure to give immediate notice of an accident. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $100 jail probation surcharge with $100 suspended and was placed on probation for one year.

Kevin W. Dell, 53, pleaded guilty to not having a valid operator’s license. He was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $100 probation jail surcharge with $100 suspended; and was placed on probation for one year.

Matthew B. Fisher, 29, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal mischief. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 25 days suspended and ordered to perform 40 hours of community work service to satisfy jail time; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to apply for an Alaska Permanent Fund dividend and pay restitution; ordered not to have contact with his victim; and was placed on probation for one year.
