Feb. 22
Alaska State Troopers at 2:21 a.m. made a traffic stop for failure to use a turn signal on a 36-year-old Homer man driving a Ford pickup truck on Rustic Avenue in Soldotna. After doing a records check, troopers arrested the man for driving while license revoked.
Feb. 26
Troopers at 4:10 p.m. made a traffic stop for speeding on a person driving a 2004 Ford Expedition near Mile 171 Sterling Highway in Homer. Troopers contacted a passenger, a 24-year-old Anchorage man, and found he had a warrant for his arrest on a charge of third-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. Troopers said he man also violated conditions of release by being in the presence of a convicted felon, firearms and drug paraphernalia. Troopers arrested the Anchorage man and released three other people. Handguns and narcotics were seized. An investigation is continuing.
Feb. 28
Troopers at 9:43 a.m. received a report that a 44-year-old Homer man left his third-party custodian and violated conditions of release. The man was supposed to be within sight and sound of his custodian. Troopers located and arrested the man at a Spyglass Street home in Fritz Creek.
