The defending small-schools state champion Ravens used a punishing rushing attack to turn back the host Mariners on Saturday.
The Ravens, of the Aurora Conference, had 386 rushing yards against the Mariners of the small-schools Peninsula Conference.
Kalib Dunlap led the way on the ground for Eielson with 13 rushes for 164 yards and three touchdowns, while Caleb Velez had seven carries for 89 yards and two scores. Antonio Griffith and Andrew North added rushing scores for the Ravens, who had a 33-0 lead after the first quarter.
For Homer, Teddy Croft finished 10 of 18 for 152 yards and two TDS and two interceptions.
Homer’s first score came in the second quarter, when Croft found Michael Swoboda for a 31-yard score. Croft also had a 13-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter. In the third quarter, Croft had a 6-yard touchdown to Josh Fisk.

Sparked by a pair of fumble recoveries for touchdowns in the first quarter, the visiting Rams rolled past the Cougars in Homer.
Both are small schools, with Voznesenka in the Peninsula Conference and Monroe in the Aurora Conference.
Caleb Thomas rushed 14 times for 206 yards and three touchdowns for Monroe. Brian Meyer, Grant Olson and Josh Gray added rushing touchdowns. Isaac Allen and Thomas had the fumble recoveries for scores.
David Sanarov led the Cougars on the ground with 19 rushes for 62 yards. Nikit Anufriev hit 6 of 15 passes for 74 yards for Voznesenka.
